About us
Freedom is a new, enthusiastic, life-giving church in Daytona Beach, Florida, rooted in the Word of God and empowered by the Holy Spirit. We are at the beginning of an exciting journey, building a multigenerational and multicultural community where people from every walk of life can encounter Jesus, experience authentic relationships, and grow in their faith. Our worship is Spirit-filled, our teaching is grounded in Scripture, and our heart is to see lives genuinely transformed. Come as you are, but don’t leave that way.
While we build toward the future God has placed before us, we are currently gathering in a temporary location at 320 Dr. Mary McLeod Bethune Boulevard, Daytona Beach, FL 32114. Join us on Wednesdays at 7:05 PM for Freedom Talk, our time of biblical teaching and conversation, and Sundays at 12:15 PM for The Freedom Experience, featuring Spirit-filled worship and the Word of God. We may be just getting started, but we believe something meaningful is being built, and there is a place for you to be part of it from the beginning.
our lead servant:
Pastor Raynard Brant is a preacher, mentor, and servant leader with more than two decades of ministry experience. Born in Vero Beach, Florida, he gave his life to Christ at the age of eight and began serving in ministry as a teenager. While in college, he helped establish The Pillar, a collegiate ministry created to reach and develop college students in their faith.
Pastor Brant began pastoring in 2013 and has served the Daytona Beach community since 2015. Today, he serves as Lead Pastor of The Freedom Experience, a growing, multigenerational and multicultural community rooted in the Word of God and empowered by the Holy Spirit. His passion is simple: lead people, serve people, and help people experience the transforming freedom found in Jesus Christ.
On February 23, 2022, Pastor Brant married the love of his life, Sister Pyrnie Brant. Together, they are blessed with two beautiful children, their son and goddaughter. Family is an important part of their lives and ministry as they seek to lead, love, and serve others together.
His ministry is anchored in Isaiah 61:1: “The Spirit of the Lord God is upon me; because the Lord hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek…”
